What is the project?
This project supports new and existing businesses in the biomedical sector, enabling health technology products to reach the market quicker, therefore generating an earlier income, jobs and improving regional growth and gross value added.
The specialist support, provided by Medilink, includes support for all elements of the innovation route, including advice on standards and packaging rules, SME access to clinicians, effective collaboration and design.
Specific examples of how this project will be delivered include:
- events and conferences focused on raising awareness of routes to markets, including addressing NHS procurement barriers; and
- the establishment of strategic partnerships to facilitate collaborative projects to take place.
