Lime Street Gateway

What is the project?
This project will deliver high-quality public realm at Liverpool Lime Street Station; a major gateway to Liverpool city centre.


The project involves the demolition of the Concourse House (Tower Block) and the construction of a high quality public realm as well as a new accessible main entrance to the station.

What is its purpose?
The project will improve a key transport gateway to Liverpool city centre and is a crucial project in improving the city’s image.

How much funding has it received from ERDF?
£3 million.

How much funding has it received from other funding partners?
£4 million funding from all other project partners including the Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWDA).
