What is the project?
This project will ensure that additional power provision is made across the Estuary Commerce Park estate to enable the future marketing of the regionally strategic employment site.
The current energy consumption and available capacity in the network has been established, resulting in the conclusion that sufficient power exists in the network to bring forward just one further development. It has also been established that more power will be required to service the remaining development plots within the estate. Without this additional power being acquired the remaining sites throughout the Estuary Commerce Park cannot be marketed as serviced plots.
Funding for this project will allow for the new utilities infrastructure which will enable the Estuary Commerce Park to compete with other quality business parks across the region.
What is its purpose?
To provide sufficient power to enable the remaining sites on the Estuary Commerce Park to be developed into serviced plots.
