What is the project?
The Chapel Street Project is a key element of the Salford Central area, which is one of the five priority regeneration programmes identified in the Central Salford Urban Regeneration Company’s Regeneration Framework and in its annual Business Plan.
A combined Single Programme and ERDF investment will fund a phased package of works to improve the infrastructure on Chapel Street. The overall aim is to create a new city centre with new office, leisure, retail and residential uses within the historic city of Salford.
What is its purpose?
To fund a phased package of works consisting of major highways infrastructure improvements to reduce traffic volumes and congestion, and public realm improvements on Chapel Street.

£1,797,000.
