Catalyst Science Discovery Centre

What is the project?
Catalyst Science Discovery Centre and Museum (‘Catalyst’) is an award-winning specialist science education and visitor centre run by an independent regional charitable trust.

This project will deliver an educational outreach programme for young people.

What is its purpose?
The purpose of this project is to stimulate interest and awareness of science, and in particular reach out to young people, with the specific intention of inspiring and attracting them to a career in the region's scientific industries. It will actively assist in narrowing the existing science skills shortage, which is currently prevalent in the Northwest, particularly within SMEs.

£596,800.

£631,320 from other partners including the Catalyst Trust.
